Starting point
With her first novel "Zitronenbitter" coming out, the author needed her own website. It had to cover her books, reading dates, news and a newsletter, and leave room for her work as an audiobook narrator.
Approach
The design picks up the mood of the novels. The site is built with Next.js, and the content comes from a headless CMS, so the author can update books, dates and news herself without any coding. Hosting and search engine optimization are part of the project.
What was delivered
Design
Mediterranean imagery, a video on the homepage, light and dark mode.
Headless CMS
The author manages books, dates, news and images herself.
Audiobook section
A dedicated page for her work as a narrator.
SEO and newsletter
Optimization with a regional focus, on-site search, newsletter and social media previews.
