2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel, Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA (privacy@vercel.com). Server-side processing takes place exclusively in Frankfurt am Main (Vercel region fra1). Static content may be delivered from the nearest location of the Vercel Edge Network. When you visit, Vercel processes technically necessary data (IP address, city and country derived from it, time, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system) in log files. This data is needed for delivery, stability and protection against attacks and is only kept as long as necessary for that.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is providing this website securely and quickly. A data processing agreement (Data Processing Addendum) is in place with Vercel. As Vercel Inc. is based in the USA, access from the USA cannot be ruled out. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and the EU Commission standard contractual clauses also apply. More at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

3. Contact form and email

If you write to us via the form or by email, we process your details (name, email, company, topic, timeline, message) solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete your data once the request has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

To deliver the contact form message we use the transactional email service AhaSend, provided by AhaSend B.V., Willem Fenengastraat 16, 1096 BN Amsterdam, Netherlands. When you submit the form, your data is transmitted to AhaSend solely for the purpose of delivering the message to us. AhaSend processes data exclusively within the European Union. A data processing agreement (DPA) is in place with AhaSend. AhaSend does not use your data for marketing or any other purpose. More at ahasend.com/privacy-notice.

4. Fonts

Fonts are loaded locally from this server. No connection is made to Google or any other third party.

5. Storage in your browser

This website only sets technically necessary cookies: for your language choice (innbyte-lang) and your cookie choice (innbyte-consent), each for one year. Your choice between the light and dark colour scheme is stored locally in your browser. Other categories are only used with your consent, which you can change at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

6. Web analytics

For visitor statistics we use Vercel Web Analytics. The script is only loaded if you agree to the "Statistics" category in the cookie settings. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.

Recorded per page view: time, requested page, referring site, city and country, operating system, browser and device type (mobile, tablet or desktop). Instead of an identifier, Vercel creates a hash from the request to tell visits apart. This value is discarded after 24 hours. IP addresses are not stored, and we only see aggregated statistics with no link to individual people.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. After that, no more data is sent. Processing is covered by the data processing agreement with Vercel; for the transfer to the USA see section 2.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
