Automated lab tests involve robots, sample storage and analysis working together. The researchers wanted to start tests on their own and see at any time which step a test was in.
Approach
Each test is modelled as its own resource in Kubernetes. An operator written in Go controls the robotics and schedules the required samples from storage. An AI-assisted analysis helps evaluate the results.
